Pre School BOOST Program

Family & Child Consultants is proud to be an approved supplier on the South Australian Preschool Boost Menu of Services. Eligible Flying Start partner services can use Preschool Boost funding to access our evidence-informed professional learning, leadership development and educator support programs.

 

Our programs have been designed specifically for early childhood settings and align with Preschool Boost priorities, AEDC developmental domains, trauma-informed practice, inclusion, cultural responsiveness and educator capability building. Whether your service is seeking to strengthen educator practice, leadership capacity, communication skills, family engagement or culturally responsive approaches, our programs provide practical tools and implementation support that create lasting change.

 

All programs can be delivered online, in person or through a blended model, making them accessible to services across metropolitan, regional and remote South Australia.

 

Eligible services may be able to use Preschool Boost funding to purchase these programs once they have been included in their Preschool Boost Plan and approved by their OECD Local Team.

Having Difficult Conversations: Evidence Based Communication for Early Childhood Settings

Having Difficult Conversations: Communication for Early Childhood Settings is a practical professional learning program that helps educators and leaders manage sensitive conversations with children, families and colleagues. Through interactive workshops, participants build confidence in trauma-informed communication, conflict resolution, emotional safety and family engagement, strengthening relationships and whole-service communication culture.

Circle of Security® Classroom Approach (COSC)

Looking to strengthen emotional wellbeing, secure relationships and educator confidence in your preschool setting?


Family and Child Consultants delivers the Circle of Security® Classroom Approach (COSC) — an approved Preschool Boost Menu Supplier program for eligible South Australian services. This practical, evidence-informed professional learning program supports educators to better understand children’s emotional needs, build secure relationships, respond to challenging behaviour with confidence, and create calmer, more connected early learning environments.

ThriveLead: Trauma-Informed Leadership & Management Program for Early Childhood

ThriveLead is a trauma-informed leadership and cultural capability program for early childhood leaders and educators.
