Family & Child Consultants provides safe, supportive, and trauma-informed supervised access services for children and families during weekday hours. Our experienced practitioners ensure that every visit prioritises the wellbeing of children while supporting positive family connections. What is Supervised Access? Supervised access enables children to spend time with their parent or family member in a safe, neutral environment under the guidance of a qualified professional. This service is ideal for families navigating separation, court orders, or safety concerns, and is delivered with compassion, respect, and cultural sensitivity. What to Expect: Professional Supervision: All visits are overseen by trauma-informed practitioners who are skilled at supporting children and families through challenging circumstances. Child-Focused Approach: Our team ensures every child’s emotional and physical safety is prioritised throughout the visit. Neutral Venue or Community Setting: Sessions can be arranged at our welcoming North Adelaide location or at an agreed community venue. Transparent Communication: We provide clear guidelines, expectations, and support to all parties before, during, and after each visit. Cultural Competence: We are committed to culturally safe practice, with specific support available for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and CALD families.
